Legion Cabs operates as a Taxi Booking and Payment Service allowing you to book and pay for taxi services through our Application, Call Centre by dialing 13 14 51, or via our website at www.legioncabs.com.au (Website).

Legion Cabs connects you to taxi drivers for transportation services. Please note that Legion Cabs facilitates the arrangement of travel services between you and taxi drivers. By utilizing our Services, you acknowledge that Legion Cabs does not provide transportation services directly and that we are not liable for any transportation services provided by taxi drivers.

1. General

1.1 By registering on our Website and/or Application, and each time you use our Services, you consent to these Terms and Conditions. Neither the registration nor the use of our Services shall be possible without explicit consent to these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. It is your responsibility to periodically review this agreement for updates. Legion Cabs may also introduce new services and features, which will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 You will be notified of any changes to these Terms and Conditions via email or the Application.

1.4 By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. To access our Services, you must sign up with us and provide accurate personal information. Upon successful sign-up, you will receive a personal account, accessible with a password of your choice. You may also be required to provide credit card or Cab charge account details.

2. Payment

2.1 The use of our Services is currently free of charge. However, we reserve the right to introduce fees in the future. Should we decide to do so, you will be notified accordingly, and you may choose to continue or terminate using our Services.

2.2 In some cases, we may authorize temporary charges on your credit card (or other payment method) for verification purposes. These charges will be automatically removed after verification.

2.3 If you choose to pay via the Website, Application, or Call Centre, you agree to pay for all taxi services provided to you by the taxi drivers on behalf of Legion Cabs. We may charge your credit card or Cabcharge account for these services, including taxes and fees. Payments are non-refundable.

2.4 Charges are based on metered fares and tolls, with an additional service fee of 5% in certain areas. We may also charge an extra fee for fixed fare guarantee options.

2.5 If we use a third-party payment processor, the processing of payments will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Payment Processor and your credit card issuer, in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

3. Conditions of Carriage for Parcel Delivery

​

3.1 If you choose to use Legion Cabs Parcel Delivery Service:

(a) You warrant that the goods are not considered Dangerous Goods.

(b) You agree to terms regarding delivery authorization and recipient absence.

(c) Legion Cabs will presume delivery based on GPS data or photographic evidence if available.

4. Communication Provider Charges

4.1 You acknowledge that using our Services may incur data and/or communication carriage charges. We are not responsible for any such charges.

5. Links to Third Party Sites

​

5.1 The Services may contain links to other Websites (“Linked Sites”). Legion Cabs is not responsible for the content of Linked Sites or any transmissions received from them. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Legion Cabs.

5.2 Users are advised to review the terms of use or privacy policies of Linked Sites before using them.

6. No Unlawful or Prohibited Use

6.1 You warrant that the information you provide is accurate and complete. We may verify this information and refuse service if necessary.

6.2 You may only access the Services using authorized means. We reserve the right to terminate service if incompatible or unauthorized devices are used.

6.3 You agree not to use the Services for unlawful or prohibited purposes, including damaging or impairing the Services or interfering with other users' enjoyment.

6.4 Legion Cabs reserves the right to terminate service for non-compliance.

7. Term and Termination

7.1 The agreement lasts for as long as we provide service to you or as long as you have an open account with us.

7.2 You may terminate the agreement at any time by deleting the Application, closing your account, or ceasing to use our Services.

7.3 Legion Cabs may terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

8. Materials Provided to Legion Cabs or Posted on the Website

8.1 By submitting materials, you grant Legion Cabs permission to use them in connection with our Internet businesses.

8.2 Legion Cabs is under no obligation to use or post any submissions provided by users.

​

8.3 You warrant that you own or control all rights to your submissions.

9. Information for Personal, Non-Commercial Use Only

9.1 Information provided by Legion Cabs is for personal use only and may not be sold or used for commercial purposes.

9.2 Users may not use data gathering tools on our Services without prior consent.
